paolo nutini-jenny dont be hasty: kinda new guy, its a really cool song and he's one of those 'one to watch' musicians
sarah mclachlan-angel: really sad and beautiful song
try browsing the top 100 songs and listening to clips of songs you dont recognise. when you buy songs on itunes there's usually an option called 'beta: just for you' and its a list of songs they recommend you buy based on your previous purchases and songs you already have. hope this helps :D
