I heard both, "keep patient" and "keep patience", which one is right?

At first glance it would be "keep patient".Preferably it would be "be patient".But it would depend on the sentence structure.It could also be "keep your patience".

"Patient" is a state of mind, "Patience" is a quality you possess.

Thus, it is "keep patient" or "be patient".
OR
It is "have patience"
