I am no chav, I set up the "Metal Inquistion" which deals with this chav population in the UK, they must burn and their "Culture" destroyed!

I don't wear much jewelry, usually just my wedding ring and that is it. I have also seen small children with tons of gold jewelry on, it may be a cultural thing, because many Mexicans that live around me all have a ton of gold on their babies and the kids never take it off for anything. I would be afraid to put a ton of jewelry on my child, do they realize how easy it would be to just grab it off their child, that would be a little scary!

Gold is a timeless jewelry, but wearing it all the time is something I wouldn't do, or dress a baby in it. And wearing gold clothing is just plain old tacky! No one should always wear gold, it makes you look snooty and that's not good...

i dont wear stupid amount of jewellery, i only wear my wedding ring, engagement ring, eternity ring and a mum ring. for my 21st birthday in january im getting a a gold tiffany bracelet and a black diamond necklace in gold.

i can only wear gold as i have very pale skin so silver and white gold and platinum doesnt suit me.

plus i am NOT a chav and never intend to become one.

I think it's hideous to see people with more gold than skin on show.

Do they think it's attractive or a statement of how wealthy they are - if so why is it always the cheapest gold that even Gerald Ratner wouldn't sell in his shops? and how many piercings can the average human ear take for goodness sake?

AND - how come the people who you see dripping in gold are always single mums, on benefits. Do they ever buy food for themselves or their kids? I wonder how much of my annual tax bill is around their ugly necks or pouring off their ears and tongues and belly buttons...........

RANT RANT RANT
(Why did you have to ask this question????!!!!!)

No, definitely not. I think its the chav way of saying they spent their benefits on cheap jewellery so they think they look minted. Like chav bling
