a strange but opiniative question...do you think that we as humans are controlled in some kind of way.Do you think we are made to think what we think,have the actions and personalities that we have by some one controlling us without us even knowing it??Do you think we are masked from the truth of what really goes on in the world or are we just living in a world where we eat.sleep,work and die??? or is there more to life than what i described???

I cant help but think that after watching the truman show, lost, matrix, etc, it just gets you thinking.
Why do we all accept what the government says and not just do our own thing, i mean we abide to laws why?!
Why do we all just reproduce when we know we are going to die?!

I think its all strange,I definately think we are being controlled by something we dont know.

Short answer is 'No.' However, there are pressures, from the media of the various sorts, which can pursuade us to have us thinking in one direction or another.

Suggestion: Ignore the media. However, you will as likely as not (unless you discuss with a great many people) to know very little about or understand what is happening around you or why.

Additional to that, those people to who you would talk with will likely as not have been feeding from the media and will have thus formed opinions etc from it........


The other question your asking is to do with some Dark Conspiracy which has been written about and vented before ...where there it is suggested that there is some ''World Council'' which manipulates and controls the directions of society/s ~ and so on (whether this includes 'sub-cultures' and 'groups' and so on, I have no idea). To run with this idea I have the sense of being ''Overawed'' by the huge problems that this would entail for any Council or organisation which attempted such manipulations.


Isaac Asimov (an 'SF' writer) wrote 'The Foundation Trilogy’ (plus other books set within this arena) of 'a science' which could predict (through statistics and mathematics) the ways or directions in which societies would move.

Within the storyline he would in effect, suggest ( to those who viewed the 'greeting-recordings of the then by, deceased scientist' ) or point out the way ahead for mankind / societies, and how best to deal with the rise and fall of certain aspects of them in order to survive.

It (the series) were brilliant pieces of writing and still deserve to be read, for various reasons. However, like 'The Great Eternal Plan' as is suggested by 'religion,' there may or may not be one. It isn't until one reaches 'The End' that one can Know ....and just when that 'End' is due to arrive....!


In the meantime, you can choose to opt in or out of 'the Game' and choose which set of the Rules you chose to follow ....or not. Or, you can even make yours up as you go, or behave like the character in the book 'The Diceman' (Phillip K Dick, I believe ...though I could be wrong!), and let your decisions to options for you be decided by the fall of The Dice.

We make our own choices. Right or wrong. We are put here to choose our own lifes path. I don't believe we are led any certain way. It is all what we decide to do or not to do. It is like the Choose Your Own adventure books for kids. If you choose this person as your spouse then your life will turn out this way. If you choose this career then you will have this life or if you don't this will happen, etc. But we never know what will happen until we take that path. We find out as we go through life if we make the right choice or not. Then after one decision then there are others that come along to change that path and create a new path for us to follow. Life is challenging and we choose the challenges we want to take on.

Yes, we are controlled by some people, when our feelings tell us to follow... or else how else is their a word as peer pressure? The Government? Well they control us with their petty lies and false promises and the smiles that gives us all hope...or whatever.

And No, we arent control by someone unless we want to be controlled by them so its all up to us. No one else to blame for anything.

Life is what you make it..we're all influenced by things and people in our lives, and doubtless the media is a clever way of blowing things out of proportion/ hiding the things they don't want us to see. What we should do is live our lives without trying to affect others in a negative way..

The problem these days is people dont know how to be themselves...no personality of their own...no strength to stand up to what they believe...and for that reason they look elsewhere...whether it be the cool dude down the road or TV. My advice? Keep good company...
