OK here it is: "Why do we see our youth as the same as adults when crime is the issue"? or

"Is it fair to penalize our youth with adult consequences when it comes to offenses"? or

"A youth getting jail time before he gets a drivers license, is this really fair"? Good luck in the debate.

Not really a hook, but worth pointing out that the kids tried as adults are - not legally able to smoke, drink, haven't reached the age of consent, nor could they get an abortion without parental consent in most states. Certainly aren't old enough to be sent to war, but in a situation where the courts can label them as adult offenders, try and sentence them as such.

Debate is a thrill! Good luck!

How approximately "If we are to be tried as grownup as quickly as we are accused of a criminal offense than provide us the the ideal option to vote." call for suffrage! that would desire to be an interest grabber. i'm many times against that too. i'm no longer undemanding on crime Conservative Republican yet I do think of you will be able to desire to distinguish between youthful and grownup offenders. There must be a intense high quality crisp line between the two. i'm no longer disenchanted with 17 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds being tried as adults. possibly no longer sixteen 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds yet under that i think of they might desire to be tried as juveniles. that's additionally to no longer say I choose lenient sentences for juveniles. anybody who's risky or has dedicated a violent crime must be locked up for an extremely long term.

"Can't drink, Can't smoke,
Can't drive, Can't vote.
Can't defend our country in battle,
But can be slaughtered here like cattle."

Being tried as an adult, also means adult penalties - like death. Good luck!
