sounds to me like you either have a medical problem or you just need more energy, try planning ahead better ways to keep active through the day, you will then sleep better through the night leaving you more refreshed the next day and less tired.Try getting out in your lunch break, going to the gym, stuff like that, if it does not work then go to the doctors, it could be your thyroid or something. Lack of sleep is not good for you as it can prevent the body working properly causing more problems.x

I am overweight and I have sleep Apnea I have had it diagnosed since 1988 when I was 44 years old. I think I had it for about 8 years before that even. I was always tired, but I worked the night shift on and off for almost 20 years total. So I kept blowing it off as being part of the problem. Then I fell asleep going home after a night shift on my motorcycle. That was trip. No injuries but scared the hell out of me. Then I got a day job for 5 years and was still always tied. I fell asleep on the altar in front of the entire congregation once... I finally fell asleep at the wheel of my car and crossed the middle line. The other guys horn woke me just in time to turn back. I could have killed us both. Read an article on sleep apnea and went for testing. Now my cardiologist thinks that although I use the C-Pap mask every night I am not getting enough oxygen still. Not tired any more but he thinks I might have right heart failure. I am going for more testing soon. That is the problem about Sleep Apnea 2 million people have in in the USA but do not know it. The youngest I have ever heard of was a girl 4 years old. NOT overweight she just had other problems with her airway closing off during sleep. It was described in Charles Dickens novel The Pickwick Papers as the malady suffered by benevolent Mr. Pickwick, a very overweight man. It was not recognized in Dickens time, but is now sometimes refered to as Pickwickian syndrome. If not treated it causes the the heart to enlarge and the lungs to "Stiffen" as the pulmonary hypretension gets worse. This used to be known as Cor Pulmonale before it was fully understood. Trust me it is an insidious disease that is really hard to appreciate it unless you are aware of it and its potential. Because of my experience I have been the reason that many people have been alerted to its potential. Please do not hesitate to have this checked out. A simple, inexpensive, one night test is done with a monitor on your finger. The recorded results will alert you doctor as to whether you need further testing. One other symptom is, "Do you Dream?" Most people dream every night, but most forget their dreams by morning. However, if you do not remember dreaming for a really long while it can be a clue that you have Sleep Apnea as most sufferers do not get into the dream state of REM (rapid Eye Movement) sleep. Finally if you are lucky enough to be sleeping with someone else, do you snore, and are they hearing you fight for breath at night...? Good luck! Remember it is not a joke, but a truly insidious disease that will kill you eventually.

Sounds like you might be depressed. Seek some help from your doctor. Sleep apnea may also be a cause. Are you overweight? A lot of overweight people have problems with sleep apnea.

This amount of lethargy is unhealthy and could be any range of things, from chronic fatigue syndrome, underactive thyroid, sleep disorders, depression, or something much worse. See a doctor this week to start to get to the bottom of it.

You need to ask a doctor. On here, all you will get are opinions. There may be something dangerously wrong with you.
See your doctor, have him do an EKG for certain.

You need to speak to your family Dr. about this. It could be as simple as you needing B12 and iron shots to something more serious.
