Try this: Go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

Good luck

Right click on "My Computer" click on "Manage" This will bring up computer management.
In the left is the "Event viewer , have a look here for the eventid 1068, it will give you more detailed info of your error.
http://eventid.net/
Great site for troubleshooting errors.

Go further down the tree you will see "Services and Applications" open this you will see "Services"
Click on it, on the right you will see all services run by your PC. Ensure that any service that has an "automatic start" is started if not right click on the service and start it. Both the Event logs and running services are a good starting point to your problems.

I am interpretting that restart services differently than answers above. I would go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools and click around in those half dozen or so folders to see if anything makes sense to try there. Type 1068 Error into search box above and read those references too.

You can repair your windows installation without losing documents. Looks a bit like you could have some spyware or vrius. Run a full virus and spyware scan - if they are clean then boot from your cd and select repair option for windows - will replace missing files without removing data.

you can either restart your pc and all services will start runing . if that doesnt work do a system restore to an earlier date when your pc was working well. i.e start>all programs>accesories>system tools> system restore
then follow the instructions from there. good luck

If your computer hangs or reboots while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes. Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yk5zpr

Did you login as administrator? You sure that your system has no spyware/virus?
