Becoming a millionaire is really not that difficult. All that's required is a half-way decent job and some discipline in savings and spending.

The typical millionaire is someone in their 40's who owns a home and has saved a portion of their salary every year. So, there are probably several millionaires living on the same street that you do,

While they don't have fancy cars or live on yacht, which is what I think you're thinking that millionaires do, they have "fun" knowing that they're not going to be living on dogfood when they retire. They won't be worrying about paying for their children's college costs. They won't have to sit in the hospital emergency room waiting for a routine medical visit because they have enough money to pay for insurance and a private doctor.

Note, that the millionaires I refer to are probably NOT driving sports cars or have any outward appearance of wealth. In fact, most people that have new cars every year are usually living up it now, in expectation that "someone" will take care of them later in life.

It doesn`t buy happiness and it can create unhappiness. If you are a "self made" one, you can loose `friends` once they find out, it is the old green eyed giant in action. You live a normal life and you do still work. Life is much the same except you don`t have to always worry about the next bill coming in.If you are not careful with your children, they grow up thinking you are a cash machine, and that is no help to them later in their lives. Given the choice between being rich and being poor ( I have been both)undoubtedly I would choose rich, any fool would.
