Heck yeah. How else do you find change for snack machines? The way I look at it is if I am doing the wash then whatever I find in the pockets is mine.
I once made $40 doing the laundry.

I don't have any clothes. Really, I have one pair of ripped on jeans and one pair of trousers for work. I never put anything in the pockets (the jeans pockets have massive holes in them) so I don't need to check.
Man, I really should buy some clothes other than T-Shirts.

Nah, my kids usually don't have anything major in their pockets. If something ends up in the wash it's usually plastic or coinage. No harm, no foul.
