You can if you have newer plumbing in good shape - if everything goes OK it's easy - but we have an older house with funky plumbing that's pieced together - so it would be very difficult for me. Here's a link to a website with easy instructions:

The previous answer with detail is basically correct with a couple of exceptions, never take an electric panel off of an old appliance without cutting the breaker off first. Some dishwashers have a plug like you would plug into the wall and others are hard wired with wire nuts under the front facia panel. If over the years any of the connections have chafed and are now touching bare metal or could touch bare metal you can get a good jolt. Second, it is far easier to remove the drain from under the sink first, sometimes by doing this you allow yourself a little more room to move the old unit out.

Its fairly easy, you should need a screw driver an adjustable wrench and maybe a pair of pliers. Some built-in dishwashers are "hard wired" so you might have to do more than just plug it in, just look at the old one and then follow your instructions. If you can change a flat tire on your can you should be able to change out your dishwasher.

Yes. Especially since you are replacing an existing one.
It's basically 3 connections - supply line, drain line, and electric plug.
1 - Turn off the shut-of valve of water from the old one. (hopefully under your kitchen sink. If not shut off the main water in the house)
2 - Unscrew the 2 screw holding the old dishwasher to the counter top.
3 - Unscrew the bottom panel of the old dishwasherand lower the dish washer tension legs which hold it in place.
4 - slide it out slowly.
5 - disconnect the supply line, the drain line, then pull the dishwasher out and unplug it.
6 - now do it all in reverse for the new one.
Thats it

Even with my knowledge of being able to do a LOT of things... I would not undertake to install a dishwasher.. too many hoses that could be hooked up wrong, etc.... I would leave that to the place where you buy the dishwasher..let them do it and do away with the headache(s)

Pay close attention to how the old one is connected (take notes if you need to) then connect the new one in the same fashion.
Good Luck

If it is the same size as the old it will be pretty easy. Be sure you remember how the old one comes out as far as wiring and piping. You should have no problems
