Her name was Mileva Einstein Maric, and some sources believe that either she wrote the paper or helped him write it: There is more and more evidence that Mileva Einstein Maric (Einstein's wife) is the coauthor of "The Theory of Relativity". Recently published letter between Mileva Maric and Albert Einstein is shedding light on who is the author (s) of the "Theory of Relativity". Albert Einstein received the Nobel Prize in 1921. He gave all the money from the Nobel Prize to his wife - Mileva Maric- this was the condition for the divorce settlement. Einstein did not leave any documents which acknowledged the contribution of Mileva Maric to the Theory of Relativity. In 1905, several articles bearing the name of Albert Einstein appeared in the Annalen der Physik - a Germans Physic Journal where the Theory of Relativity was published. The paper dealing with relativity was entitled Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Korper. Only Albert Einstein's name appeared in the journal as author. According to Abram Fedorovich Joffe the original paper was signed "Einstein-Marity". "Marity" is a variant of the Serbian "Maric", Mileva maiden name. Mileva Maric Einstein's name was left out when publication of the article took place. Joffe saw the original 1905 manuscript. HOWEVER, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE FOR HER HAVING WRITTEN IT...IN FACT, THIS IS JUST A RUMOR...SEE SECOND SITE

Einstein attended the Luitpold Gymnasium, where he received a relatively progressive education. The gymnasium prepares pupils to enter a university. In Germany, for instance, pupils study subjects like German, maths, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, arts, music, physical education, divinity, history and social sciences. They are also required to study at least two foreign languages (the combination of English and Latin or English and French being the most popular). In the 12th and 13th grade students prepare for the Abitur, an examination required in order to go on to a university.

He quit a year and a half prior to final examinations without telling his parents, convincing the school to let him go with a medical note from a friendly doctor, but this meant that he had no secondary-school certificate.

Although he excelled in the mathematics and science part of entrance examinations for the Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich his failure of the liberal arts portion was a setback; his family sent him to Aarau, Switzerland to finish secondary school, and received his diploma in September 1896.

Einstein subsequently enrolled at the Federal Polytechnic Institute in October and moved to Zurich. In 1900, Einstein was granted a teaching diploma by the Federal Polytechnic Institute.

Albert Einstein couldn't tie his shoelaces until he was five years old. Reason he was an abstract thinker, who cared little about details. Yes, he dropped out, but returned and eventually graduated from one of the top universities in Germany.

that's putting it a little harshly, ans no she didn't write the theory of relativity however behind every successful man is the hand of a woman. she did help him with the theory and she should take half the credit but Einstein carried on working even after he left her. and he didn't Dump her it was their decision to split up which the made together.

I never heard that. I know he had a learning disability. He may have dropped out of college though.
