The stock exchange keeps breaking records. Be creative, tell me how this is Bush's fault.

I hate this great economy! Can't we go back to the Carter years?

The stock market is just inflated. The numbers don't mean anything when everything else is inflated too uneducated Neocon. The deficit is in the trillions and you owe the money, It's not credit!!! You don't know anything about percentages, and we are loosing not gaining.

The stock market has very little (almost nothing) to do with the average working person. Sure, you may have some stocks or mutual funds, but they don't provide the income you live on. Only the very rich benefit enough when the stock exchange does well to ignore the fact that wages have dropped while the cost of living has gone up because of the Bush administration's policies.

Republican Mom,

Step out of your gas guzzling SUV and take a real look around. Six years into a Republican presidency and twelve years since the Republicans took control of Congress, where are the high paying jobs that this 'investement' creates? Pensions are disappearing. I don't know anyone under 40 who has a pension plan. Low interest rates encouraged people to borrow more than they can afford, and now many are in danger of losing their homes. Foreclosure rates are skyrocketing. Wordcom and Enron were artificially inflated, but that was under the Republican controlled congress. Purtting tax cut money into peoples hands increased corporate profits while increasing public debt and doing nothing for the average worker. The rich didn't get progressively more bace, they got exponentially more back! They benefit more than any other from government programs like the military, federal aviation administration, and other transportation departments. Even Medicare and Medicaid tend to benefit the rich more than the poor because of the money they generate for businesses. The economy is a wreck that we'll be paying for well into the future.

Worst is your outright lie about the deficit, which has grown more dramatically under the Bush administration than at any time in our nation's history.

The stock market has everything to do with a strong economy. You libs really need to go to a real school and learn economics - and not from a professor who rails at capitalism as evil. Mutual funds and stocks create wealth for everyone. Even union workers pensions are invested in the stock market - your pejorative working man. More business investment mean more money for businesses to invest in their companies and YES create more jobs - for your working man. Low interest rates (unlike the double digits of the Carter years) allow people to buy homes. Home ownership is at an all time high, especially among minorities. The 90's economy was artificially and criminally inflated (dot.com bust, WorldCom, Enron) - which caused an economic recession at the end of the decade and into 2000s. The tax cuts put more money into EVERYONE'S hands to spend, save, invest, etc. Yes, rich people got more back - they pay progressively more taxes - duh! With everyone being able to use their own money they way they choose for their own needs - the economy has taken off!! As for the deficit remarks - President Bush has cut the deficit in half - 6 years ahead of schedule. Your liberal media doesn't tell you that, do they!

and how is our deficit spending doing? How much have we borrowed from China? How long can this housing boom continue? I will take Carter over this administration any day.

Everything is Bush's fault. Liberals think that if they stand against the President, that people will vote them in just on that.
