great game you see now why Crouch should never be on the bench should always start. Now when a Stiker is on a high the worst thing you can do is be put on the bench you are too fired and hungray for the next game. lets see if they can bring that victory with out a change and without injuries(this is the only time you should change the squad) to the next game, and the next game and till the end of season. With that formular Liverpool are crowned Champions and that is the Liverpooll Way. Has always been the Liverpool way that is what Shankly built.

I think Liverpool are a reasonable team but they are not consistent enough to be champions this season , probably Chelsea or Manchester United will do that. However as long as they avoid injuries to certain key players they should do well. The ones I mean are Gerrard, Riise, Carragher and Crouch. The rest, to me, are just fill ins and as long as Benitez keeps rotating he will never have a settled team. The result against Villa was good but Villa are, really, only an average team who've had a decent run, so I wouldn't get too excited. Good luck for the season. By the way I'm a Manchester United / Wigan fan but I don't see the point in 'hating' other teams, after all without them there'd be no game. Good results for us 1 - 0 away to Fulham and 4 - 0 away to Bolton.

Liverpool did very well last weekend against Aston Villa as they converted all their chances & kill off any chance of a comeback from Villa. the goals which was scored was well taken & let's hope that Liverpool could produce some similar display in the upcoming matches.

I agree - Crouch is a good player, and there is no need to put him on the bench! If Rafa will not do this mistake, Liverpool will definitely win the Premiership!

Who can argue with a legend like Shankley( GOD) he made the club great picking the same 11 week in week out, he then passed the mantle onto the late great Paisley ( the greatest liverpool manager) and he won everthing you could possibly win in domestic football with the same team week in week out. Benitez needs to look at the history books and see the sucess that not dropping players brings.

The whole of the team did well... Crouch, Kuyt and Garcia all scored beautiful goals... Players like Gerrard, Finnan, Sissoko played their hearts out... Riise, Alonso as usual showing wat they are capable of while Reina showed more confidence this time... Carragher is getting back to his best soon... Hyypia is reliable but I see Agger taking his place sooner rather than later... Credit to Rafa... Now let's do the same away from home...

I agree - great game, and about time too!

I'm unsure about Rafa's rotation tactics - they don't seem to be working just yet but we still need to give it time to settle in and for him to find the best starting 11. Don't forget we've got a big Euro game coming soon and we need to rest our best players so we can concentrate on winning this - as it seems the league is out of our reach this year.

Come on you Reds!

i agree crouch is a great player just ook at his form for england it is exeptional. the bbc match of the day panal say that you shouldnt put a player on the bench when he is playing well and i agree. imagine how peter feels when he is scoring and playing well only to be told that he is on the bench. i agree with rotation when things arnt going so well but when you have a team that have gelled together and are playing well i thing you should just leave them sleves to do there stuff.

Stevie and his Boys did us proud. I am also not to sure about this rotation tactic that rafa`s using, but it certainly worked yesterday, it was just bad luck that Stevie did`nt have a Goal, it was`nt due to him not trying.
