Considering a move away from the East Coast to a warmer climate. Want to find a city where I can walk to shops/restaurants, people are friendly, streets are clean, there is natural beauty, museums, film, ballet, lectures.
Easy airport access is important. Natural food, yoga/meditation. Strong small business community.

Eugene Oregon would fit this perfectly ... although winter daytime weather is likely to drop a bit lower than 50, though not often below 40, and summer weather is in the 80's. But it's a lovely city and meets are your other criteria. It's a university town, entire metro area about 250,000.
