Well, some of us were born ON the Mississippi, and my baby photo show me straddling the Mighty Miss up there in Minnesota, where it begins, as a tiny trickle of a creek!
Now, I live in Florida, but, have lived on the Mississippi along it's length... in many states!

Anyone who goes out of their way to actually type the hillbilly slang "y'all" doesn't have a lot of room to look down on others, if that's what you mean. By the way, did you know there is no such word as "alot"? Even in Mississippi?
