Pros - comfort. Less likely to get splashing of urine
Cons- more exposure of body. Less privacy. If you are peeing outside, wind might blow it back at you.
Why do you ask?

You're asking this in Women's Health?
Okay, sometimes I have to squat in the woods, but then it's likely to go someplace I don't want it, so sitting is a lot better.
How about trying in Men's Health if you want answers that mean something?
