okay so this is th exact question, my hard drive(d) disappeared from my computers a couple weeks ago. bios recognizes it, it sounds fine, i hear ir spinning, there's no dust, i just need to find it. my cables are fine and a data recovery programs can read it, but i don't think i need to go that far. any suggestions?
and no when i type it into search it says it can't find it. i need it back because of the lack of space on my c drive that's where i stored everything. i didn't have a cd data burning program so i didn't back it up. now i have it but can't find d drive. help?

Losing data on a hard drive is the worst nightmare of any computer owner. However, some hard drive problems can be easily fixed yourself by using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful
