She was mean and rude. I called corporate to complain about hours and mentioned that she had her Husband and Child in the store helping. She was fired because of that. I never thought she would get fired and now other employees hate me. How do I redeem myself? I never liked her because she was always thinking of herself and not her employees. I have gone to her with problems that just fell on deaf ears. She worked the hell outta us and was very rude at times. Is it ok to "bust" on your boss? I know that life at my job is gonna be tough the next few weeks and it will be because of me. I can't take it back, what's done is done! How do I stand up for myself with the other employees? I just hate the stress involved in all this, but cannot afford to quit. Advice please??

Unintentionally, you get to identify your co-workers' moral compass. Many may have misinformation or incomplete information and be more than willing to jump to conclusions. A few may have seen it coming and are just glad it isn't them.

You did the right thing in standing up for yourself. But perhaps a lesson could be learned regarding be careful what you say. That includes to your co-workers. We can never be sure how people will use some information we share. In this case, I would say all of you have benefited greatly for your speaking up.

Give things time. People are fickle, there will be someone new to slander by next week.

You have nothing to feel bad about. She broke the rules so she paid for it. However I would hope you have learned a lesson in relationships. If the other employees truly dislike you for doing this it may just be that only you had this problem with her.

One thing you should never do is to go over the head of your boss unless they are breaking the law. Your perception of her and her of you were that you were not going to get along. If you could not stand her and the way she treated you, you should have started looking for another job.

This could have gone against you just as well and you would be gone anyway. It is always a bad situation when you do not get along with your boss. They control your financial future. But most people go elsewhere to solve this problem.

Ask yourself this. Why did I do this? Not that she was wrong in what she did......no question she was....but what motivated you to tell on her? No matter you being right or wrong your next boss will have their eye on you.

Do you think your boss could afford to quit? Your actions affect more than just you, as you have found out. Maybe some of the Employees need to go, too, if they are giving you a hard time about defending your complaint.

From what I read here ,why do you feel you did something wrong? she deserved it. She did right by working you hard ,but by being rude it makes it harder than necessary to work for her.
A person like that might be hard on herself at the exspence of other's. That's not right. As far as your coworker's they probably
don't understand why you did it. Also it could be your boss didn't like you for some reason. Either way allway's put in a good work ethic.Bosses should praise there worker's at least once in a while.

Her actions and lack of management skill got her fired. Nothing you did would have caused it if it weren't true. Move and and help the new boss be a better manager

Actually it was because of HER actions that she got fired. If your complaints had been unjustified then she would still be there and you wouldnt. So dont fret about it too much. Just carry on as normal and your co-workers will get over it.

Maybe the boss was going to sack her anyway. Don't carry that on your shoulders!

Focus on you doing your job with a great attitude and a big smile.

You'll feel better and you'll make others feel better.

Keep Smiling.

In existence people will consistently have their perspectives and it sounds like she is misinformed. If she does desire to gire you for wanting to serve your u . s . a . i might accept as true with many of the others in asserting to checklist the conversations with specifics including date cases and good rates and make the main of that to extremely probably end her occupation on the muse of discrimination. and he or she rather is misinformed in the reality that a) there are not any babies and harmless civilians being killed, b) there are not any female on the front lines, confident in iraq and afghanistan and confident some have paid the terrific fee for freedom yet it rather is the possibility it rather is written in each and every of the superb print of the army settlement "be prepared to offer your existence in protection of our u . s . a .". you will unquestionably meet assorted anti-military/anti-American people and you only might desire to the two forget approximately approximately them or take action against them.

You were not in the wrong. Your ex boss was. Explain that to your co-workers. You did the right thing.

She's the one who broke the rules. Don't blame yourself.
Over time, if you do your job, don't break rules yourself, and are considerate of the other employees, then they will come around and forget or forgive you.
Good luck!
