I have never voted a straight anything ticket. I believe in trying to vote for the best candidate in each election. As a registered Republican for 30 years, I am most likely to vote a straight Democratic ticket this year.

STRAIGHT TICKET ??? NEVER !! I only vote for a candidate I think is qualified (party is unimportant). If there is a position up for election, and I don't know what any of them stand for, I do "eeney, meeney, miney, mo". Why not give everyone an equal chance? It seems to make a little more sense than blindly voting a straight ticket.
A STRAIGHT TICKET vote is only logical if you know what all of the candidates stand for and agree with them. But, how many people really DO know what all of the candidates stand for?

I'll vote for whomever will do the job best. If it's a Republican, so be it. If it a Democrat, that's fine too. I don't vote party lines.

i visit't vote. i'm 15 years old. yet even i visit understand you'd be desiring to have a good comprehend-how of the applicants' regulations and position on social and economic subject matters, regardless of their party. i does not in basic terms blindly vote for the first Democrat on the poll, in basic terms because they are Democratic. it really is in basic terms willful lack of understanding about what they are all about.
