If the phone number is a house number not a cell number you can type it in google and it will act as a phone book to display their address and such. ex. type the number (555)555-5555
hit search then it would bring up an address or you could try www. switchboard.com

You can do a reverse look-up......but I like to call the numbers myself , from a quiet payphone and use different voices/reasons to envoke the person into volunteering the info that I seek.
