Lotus Notes, since you can create custom Notes databases that range from change management systems to full-blown web applications.

It might be a little more expensive from an IBM support and systems/development maintenance point of view, but it can also bring in lots of business with the right marketing people on board. I think the main advantage is it allows programmers to develop systems in short period of time.

For simple email and calendaring functions, Outlook is probably more practical.

Lotus Notes blows Outlook out of the water... they're not even on the same level.

I prefer Outlook, but I've used it for years, and have limited experience with Lotus Notes.

Lotus Notes is way better! It looks better and has great features - i think outlook so prehistoric next to Lotus Notes!

Unfortunatly at my work they have outlook really wish they'd change it to LN! much more fun
