Only seems to be doing it on this site. When I open some of the questions, Explorer will close. WTF? Is it in my computer or is the wizard at Yahell playing an evil trick?

If you don't feel confortable messing with the registry you could just
install Firefox, then you can use either.
It is free and runs faster than IE so that's an idea.

It is IE (as far as I can tell).
I have no problems when I use Firefox
