Have bought a laptop , want to connect with my Nokia 6630 3G phone to access internet using USB cable . Had got a Nokia Software PC Suite CD . Have downloaded that , but when connect mobile & PC it gives an error searching for hardware , cud it be because I have noty downloaded anti virus software ... Please help

What is the error?
"Searching for new hardware windows "appears?
IF it's searching for hardware, let it search and when asked you for the location of driver, point it the location of your CD drive e.g. E:\ or one of it's folder e.g. E:\drivers, and should be able to install the driver.
IF this didn't work, remove the installed program from Add, Remove Program in Control Panel, and reboot your system, and connect the camera, when asks for the location of driver, point it your CD drive.

Or you're trying to access via a USB hub that is not 2.0 or better.
I can't connect some devices/internet through my 1.1 USB hub, but can through the other one that's a 2.0.

Try this...uninstall your software...connect your hardware and then re-install your software. Some programs will not recognize the hardware if you install the software first ...you need the hardware connected ...then the program.

got to divice manager and if there is one device to be installed, instal that using Nokia CD. it will work.

you have to install usb drivers for cable
