could you please tell the different between X-ray and UV in analysis of heavy metal in soil sample?

I mean which one of them is more use than the ather and why is the detection limit or more esy to use or can we take it to out side to sampling and analysis please tell me

X-rays will give you information about the crystallographic structure and the identities of the materials in your soil sample.

UV will give you information about the molecular bonding structure of the materials in your sample.

The X-ray info will be far more useful for soil sample analysis.
