We have a wonderful little bar a couple of blocks out of the way, in a downtown neighborhood that eventually will be upgraded (Investors have now bought older, commercial buildings all around it)...we do not serve much food--hot dogs, chili, quesidillias, etc because there is no proper kitchen or any opportunity to expand like that...word of mouth has helped, but no one wants to walk out of their way....

You have to take a short sacrafice like an extended happy hour with very cheap drinks have events like super bowl parties or something like 1.00 beers on wedensday every event that comes out like superbowl or boxing fight should be used as an oppurtunity to invite more people. I m 100% certain if your bar host a great event even a first time customer will be a regular. Its nothing for someone to go outta there way if they like where theyre going. Im amazing in business advice feel free to email me at any time for any advice or input im here goodluck.
