Why are housing costs skyrocketing? Soon most middle class will not be able to afford one.?

Is there hope for all us hard middle class workers out there. I don't mind renting but I would like to have a chance someday to buy my own place..

Some areas of the country are still affordable. If you are willing to relocate there are parts of the country where you can still buy a home for less than $100,000 and find a decent job to boot. If you do a little research you can make wise decisions. City-data.com gives you demographics for every city in the U.S. Realtor.com gives you access to all homes for sale in the country. When houses get too expensive for people to afford, the market levels out. Some areas will always have expensive housing. Consider moving to an area where real estate prices are lower. If you're willing to put a bit of sweat into it, you can sometimes find bargain houses that can be improved.

Hope remains always and this is hope which makes us carry through all the hardships. But then, there are two great concerns
1. Number of houses can not increase to the expected level as land is limited.
2. One way is there to have each person his dream home that one family should come out in only one family and not two!
