Is it true that most french people bathe twice monthly only?

This is completely true - apparently they do not want to get the onions round their neck wet.

not specific to French- but Europeans in general have a different "bath" hygine perspective. Not to say they are unclean in any way! and it is more to weekly showrers once. They do not Bathe or shower on daily basis like many Americans.
It is healthy to produce oils and nautral deterants to the envirment instead of constantly washing our selves.

i just went to france and no one stunk. our hotel had a shower in it and everything! wow! i will say that these germans over here stink. many of them do not use deodorant.

not sure if it is true... but that most of them don't used soap and water very often i think its true
