Graham Norton! A bigger Queen I've never seen

Oops! I answered this thinking you asked, would I like to take her place! That was my answer (below) -- but since I wouldn't wish that on anyone else, I'd say that I'd close shop and be done with the monarchy -- have one hell of a rummage sale, and cut each person on the island a big check with the proceds.
(my original answer)--->Nope, nope, nope! I mean, really, what kind of power does she really have? I imagine the life of a royal must feel isolating and lonely, and BORING! They are so disconnected from the real world, they all mind their manners, live in a fishbowl, and are constantly being criticized by the likes of me! lol Nope, no way, no how, they can keep their tea and crumpets and pomp & cirucmstance, and leave me with the little people, the poor folks, and I 'll be just fine, thankyouverymuchly! ;)

The queen will never abdicate and even when she does go it will be her family who takes over. They never put theirselves at risk of losing all the heirs to the throne so it will be one of them but the first in line is Charles.unfortunately

Her son, Prince Charles, is the next in line for succession. In spite of recent attempts to try to prevent Charles from taking the crown upon Elizabeth's death; it is almost sure he will be king unless she outlives him in which case Prince Willam is next in line then Harry.

Elizabeth II will never abdicate. Her mother lived to be over 100 for heavens sake; so we are gong to have her around for a long time.

Line of success for the British Royals is on the right:

Your question is purely academic. The Queen will never abdicate - she swore a solemn Oath to God at the Coronation, to do Her duty as Sovereign as long as She lives. Some people, especially the Supreme Governor of the Church of England, takes vows seriously.

Depends on if the king is finished with women or not and just doesn't trust them anymore, then i guess Mary might have to be de facto or something like that
