I don't like people who put people in categories so easly.
Now,I'm from Italy and no matter how many english lessons I took
PS2 helped me the most!I speak french, russian and german-I'm saying this because I want to point out the good things about being a gamer =D.When I'm under a lot of pressure I play and play.
And need I mention that most of video games these days are far better than movies?
I know that there are people who don't play games still, they have a rotten brain (I don't think Hitler played video games huh?)
I play videogames and I never wanted to go down town and kill people with bazuka, honestly.
So,what is your opinion and do you play video games?
Grazie!

Video Gamers will always get bad sterotpyes. I don't think it rots your brain, it does have some positive and negatives attributes. But if you play video games several hours a day and don't do homework and do your responsibiltes (Work, school, home etc.) then it becomes a problem.

Video Gamers often get labels like being overweight, stupid, slow and lazy, though they're not so true! I've been a video gamer since I was 3 and now I'm 19 but I not any of those things and I have friends who are the same way, so don't listen to those who judge on just the surface, I guess Video Games haven't been in society long enough to be accepted...

So as long as you don't play them constantly so that they become your life they're ok. They are a very addictive hobby (they've kept me up late many a nights) just don't let it take the place of cleaning house or finishing that book report.

I don't play video games but my husband loves them. First it was the playstation2 and now Xbox360. In fact, I hate video games. I don't think they rot your brain, but I think they are very addictive. And when you spend hours and hours playing, day after day...you miss out on alot. How can you have a life if your butt is on the couch and your mind is zoned in on this fake/fantasy game/story? I like movies, but most of them are only between an hour and 2 hours. One time I timed my husband and he played a game for 11 hours straight! And playing games all the time can take a toll on your relationships with others.
