Did you remove the disk from the drive or remove the drive itself?
If you have ripped out the drive you may now have corrupted BIOS files trying to find the drive you have removed. (I'm guessing wildly but your question is short on useful info.)

It is possible that the software for your floppy disk drive has become corrupted. Start up the computer, ignore all messages in respect of your floppy disk and, once your computer is started up, go to Control Panel and Device Manager. Find your floppy disk drive in the list of hardware and reinstall the driver software. You should have a disk for this - it should have been part of your computer package. The problem should then go away. If it doesn't, don't panic. Email and/or an external storage device can save your bacon!
Someone said buy a new computer. WHY??? Sledge hammer for a walnut people!!! Yes, my computer has no floppy drive but this does not mean those that do are obsolete! If your floppy stops working, use email or a portable device to move files between computers. A failed floppy is not the end of the world - trust me! Use your computer until it stops working and then upgrade. That is my advice, anyway...

Go into your Setup and turn of the floppy. If that fixes it, you have a bad floppy drive or cable. If you are a hands on person just switch out the drive and or cable. Floppy drives are cheap and can be bought from a used parts store. If you are not the hands on type, leave it alone after you disable it in the Setup. It will just sit there and do nothing. Your third option is to take in to a technician for repair.

Basically means that your floppy has gone up the creek and you need a new one.In the short term go into your bios setup when you reboot and disable floppy drive till you get a new one and that should stop the problem
