Easy Ways to Turn Any Evening Romantic
If you don’t have the time, money or energy to plan and execute the perfect date, you’re not alone. The good news is you can set up a romantic evening in just a few minutes with little or no cost.

1. Location
– Pick a spot outside like the Omni Castaway Rope Hammock, lawn furniture or simply throw a blanket down. The stars make great romantic scenery. If you’re staying in, pick a room you don’t normally spend a lot of time in. It will help keep your minds off daily routines. Throwing pillows and blankets on the floor in front of the fireplace is very romantic. If you have children, put away any toys, bottles and clothing they may have left in the room so you’re not thinking of them during your romantic evening.

2. Lighting
– Romance is about atmosphere, bright lights at night won’t do. Turn the lights down. If you can’t turn them down, you may want to unscrew a bulb or two to create a soft look in the room. You can light some candles. 3x3 Pillar Candle (Ivory Unscented) - 3x3-Unscented One or one hundred, it’s up to you. Always take care when burning candles, don’t leave unattended and don’t burn them under curtains or other flammable items. Hanging a string of white lights somewhere in the room will create the feeling of warmth and passion. A sting of white lights will also look very romantic outside in a tree, on a porch or railing. If your location is outside, you can light torches and citronella candles to keep the bugs away.

3. Music
– Being in a good mood is key to pulling off a romantic evening and nothing can change your mood as quickly as music. Turn on the radio. Play music that makes you feel good and upbeat. It doesn’t have to be boring elevator music, in fact that could make you and your partner drowsy. If you don’t want commercial interruptions you can play your favorite CD’s or tapes.

4. Edibles
– Grab a nice looking dish and raid the cupboards. The typical romantic snack foods are: igourmet's Favorites - 4 Cheese Sampler (2 Pound) by igourmet.com, crackers, grapes, and strawberries. But if you don’t have these items anything bite size will do such as peanuts, pretzels, cut vegetables, etc. Put any drinks in wine glasses. Wine, beer, soda, fruit drinks and even water are more enticing when served in wine glasses.

5. Alone Time
– This is time for just the two of you. No company, no distractions. Turn off cell phones and pagers; let the telephone answering machine get the calls. If you have kids, put them to bed before starting your date. Schedule this time like an important appointment. At least two hours should be set aside.

The evening doesn’t have to be perfect. If something goes wrong, it doesn’t have to be ruined. Be optimistic, go with the flow and continue. And when planning your next romantic rendezvous make a few minor changes for variety. Be creative and enjoy!

besides sex..the most romantic thing a guy can do is:
1. Go to a fancy restaurant and talk all night; hold her hand and look deep into her eyes.

2. Roses and chocolates are so cliche, try giving something unique and not cheesy! like perfume; or jewelry...

3. Ask her about her day; or bring her to a place she wont be too uncomfortable.

4. Always be real, never fake. Girls can tell when you are being a fake.

5. If you can kiss her on the lips gently!!! I cannot express enough energy on the word gently..But it would be sweet if you ask her first like "I dont know if its alright with you but can I kiss you?" Dont sound like a complete horn dog.

6. If you 2 had sex, always telll her that you love her afterwards.

7. If you bring her home, hold her hand, bring her to her room and talk to her, looking into her eyes, not at her boobs, *** etc. and tell her you love her..

hope this helps

now this is strange. I compliment the guy on trying to do whats "best" for the child but he's living back in the olden days. Lots of kids grow up with separated parents and that's okay. He CAN still be a good dad and not be with the mother of his child. It is his decision and I'm almost proud of you to stay strong through this even after a man you care for says he might want to be with another woman, but you may be able to sway his decision by talking about it. He's a grown man and he's capable of being a good father and starting a relationship for a child cannot work. A child shouldn't come into this world with an agenda. I hope I helped... and by the way, if he used protection and this girl had sex with him so soon.... I'd tell him to wait for a paternity test before he makes a drastic decision.. and maybe before you sleep with him again, get him checked for stds. No disrespect but 2 dates and a lay? sounds kinda dirty. Good luck!

Buddy, you just answered your own question. You might also include taking a stroll through the neighborhood or park if you are going to be in a relatively safe neighborhood, cook her a meal, eat be candle light, play some soft music and if you have a fireplace that works then use it. Talk with her about her interests, look into her eyes and smile when you talk to her. You do stuff like that and you'll be just fine. If she likes it, you'll know by the look in her eyes and the warm smile on her face. Trust me, you have the basic idea. Best of luck to you. -James

Or you could just be yourself...Act like she is someone that you really want to be around. And everything will fall into place. Romantic doesn't have to be fancy. Romantic is something that is special to the 2 of you. Have the grill going when she gets there. Fix something she likes, Together. In my limited experience. When you TRY to be romantic it fails. Usually miserably too...Just be yourself, thats the most important thing.

I suppose a lot of women consider roses and candlelit dinners to be romantic but the thing is people's ideas of romance differ and it depends on the person. What some people see as romantic others see as corny and the other way around.

Roses when you pick her up from the door when going out on a date. Doing something you both like - like watching a play, sitting by the beach and talking about your feelings towards each other, wine and candles ....
Let your imagination run wild.... and you'll be surprised with what you'll get when you want to get physical :)

Reserve a special table in a restaurant(not fast food!) and NEVER split the bill! PS: Give her a special gift.
