Certainly...

In the most simple example, consider a wild area with a few pigs running loose. They graze here and there eating what they may and dropping occasional liquid and solid waste in small quantities here and there to no great effect. All that changed was a few plants were consumed, and some small amounts of fecal matter were deposited which will decay and vanish in a short time.

Now, fence in a relatively small area and place 1000 pigs into the fenced area. Natural food and water supplies will rapidly vanish. Huge amounts of liquid and solid waste will rapidly accumulate. The accumulation of fecal matter will occur at a faster rate than the decay process destroys it.
Soon the entire area will develop an unpleasant odor driving away all positive elements of nature, and attracting all the negative aspects such as flies and vermin. Sickness and starvation will begin to impact the area. Lack of a sufficient clean water supply will further reduce the number of living pigs. Etc., etc., etc. Various diseases will break out and run rampant through the flock.

The same holds true with human beings. You will find
this same situation in refugee camps everywhere unless strict sanitation rules are followed and good medical assistance (with suitable supplies) is part of the camp operation. Sufficient food and water supplies must also be provided.

In specific areas where good health measures are built into the society, the urge to develop specific natural resources can create another type of hazard. Certain groups may decide to mine iron ore and make steel, or strip mine for coal. The destruction of the local environment quickly results from the waste products of those operations.

As the population increases we need more resources to fulfill their needs. We requires more place for residence which result in deforestation. We need more food material which again leads to deforestation. The growing energy demand would led to pollution. The Wild Life would be endanger more and more as we influences it their natural habitat due to growing population. Also the increase used of pesticide will become the main factor of depletion of many types of bird and animal species. We would require more fuel.Cities would be very densely populated and if new automobiles are used by them pollution level will be increase as in Delhi and Mumbai.Deforestation will imbalance the composition of gases in air which would led to global warming.Natural Hazards would have a huge impact on this cities. So the major problems we are facing today are all raised from growing population.
