Maybe try using the stuff ppl use to get scratches off their eyeglass lenses. Im guessing the ipod screen is made of plastic w/ a scratch resistant coating like most eyeglasses are. I think i've seen it at walgreens.

Depends how scratched it is, my iPod Mini has taken a beating over the years and I'm getting a new Nano for Xmas

yes you can what i did was i went into a cave found an old lamp and i rubbed it out came a genie and i wished my ipod wasnt scrached.
or you can just buy a new one and use screen protectors.

No you cant, the iPod just like anything with an apple logo on it is big on looks, low on practicality and will break.

I got mine polished out with a bit of toothpaste on a soft cloth

You use an iron on a very hot setting for 20 seconds over a Tea Towel.
I did mine and it worked really well.

liquid brass cleaner and cotton cloth just keep rubbing the glass untill the scrtches are gone

NOT with clear laquer, and not with heat!! Use Displex polish.
