We are here to do God's will and with God's help. When you don't life becomes meaningless.God's will can be anything a job, a mission,a conversation or going to a certain place. You may even be another Bill Gates who knows.
Doing God's will is alot more than just going to church.

I think that we are irrelevant, in the scheme of things. Our little lives, and the way we lead them, can be compared to microbes down some sewer system! There are far greater minds in the Como's than ours! Our very small planet is a typical example of creative thinking! I am not referring to religion either! I'm referring to how all life on this planet is so balanced and finely tuned and inter grated with other life forms, that if one species gets to strong natural attrition, will cull them back into the norm again! That is design! everything is designed! The whole planet is an Eco-system! Every living thing on this planet is designed to co-exist with other creatures! It is only man who thinks he's on a pedestal! Little does he know that he's is only one of those animals peering out at space wondering just who put him in the viewing bowl with the other animals in the first place!!!! You have a enquiring mind! You have a good day!

My personal thought on this is that we are all here to face and overcome challenges that life throws at us. To learn basically!!!We never learn anything when life is easy do we(?), so i really think we have to face the negative stuff in life to be able to grow spiritually. I think I have to learn to be more patient with people and thats something which I am finding really difficult in certain situations! But who really does know this answer to this question for certain??? We all wonder it at some point, sometimes dwell on it probably more than we should too. Maybe we are just not meant to know! I used to read the bible looking for answers, but it didnt work with me because i felt it contradicted itself in parts and i just ended up coming away with more questions, and being more confused! Perhaps you should read books on the subject to get anothers perspective. I read a lot of spiritual books as I have a real thirst for knowledge on this subject, but I still dont know the answer for sure, but at least i feel like im on the right route to finding out. Good luck with your quest ok. Love & peace to you.

Life will only have a meaning if you give it a meaning and make it worthwhile. Life doesn't last forever ... knowing that death is something that is certain is what should make us strive to achieve goals and do things that we want to do before it's too late. The way i like to think of it is that we should all dance like nobody's watching, love like we've never been hurt, sing like nobody's listening...live each day like it's the last! basically, live life to the full and take everything that comes your way. Remember, life isn't measured by how many breaths you take, but by how many moments take your breath away.

life is about the lessons... The journey not the destination.Destination is about our goal, but since we live we will never know When is our last day in this world, simply I go... nothing can guarantee us that we can reach our goal (destination). But the journey, is about each day and each second we use to obtain our goal. Journey is about how we make use the time we have. Journey is about how we make a new history in the world... maybe we are nothing to the world... but for sure we are somebody special to the people surround us and our surroundings .

I'd have to say you need to find a meaning in your own life, not search for an ultimate answer, which is futile. By taking an interest in the people and things around me I find new meanings every day.

'Life' as a thing separate from the person living it has no real meaning, it is the living of life that gives it meaning. It's not the thing that means anything it's what you do with it that defines it's meaning to you, and that meaning can be (and I believe should be) completely different for every single person alive.

no we are here to be here.
If you take everything at face value then you see everything as just being here and nothing is special. Why should anything be special, being able to enjoy life is good enough. It’s like a kid who receives free candy from a hole in the window. You can question the candy or just eat it, I prefer to eat it now and ask how to play later. if your not living to enjoy life then your missing out.

Life to me means getting on with my fellow humans & trying to do my bit to help the world continue, why am I here. Because my parents decided to have another go at having a baby after my sister died.
