I am six months pregnant and have been trying to find shops that sell v-neck sweaters and things that are warm, but all the maternity ranges I have seen in high street shops still mainly comprise of lots of vest tops, jeans and smart office wear. I just want some warm clothes for winter! Where's the best place to shop? I'm a size 10 so I need somewhere that will stock that size. Been having troublewith that too as size 10 maternity wear tends to sell out quite quickly.

Buying large non-maternity jumpers doesn't work because I am tall and slim and have small shoulders. I'd have to buy a size 16 or something to cover my bump but then I'd walk around looking like a giant sack of potatoes - so thanks to the person that suggested that, but just because I'm pregnant shouldn't mean I have to look like a whale!

I don't know what their ranges are like, but if you are in the UK Peacocks and New Look now have maternity wear. Which is typical as I was in your position this time last year and struggled, I did end up buying an over sized jumper.
Dorothy Perkins also have a range, but they are very pricey.
E-bay is a good place to look too if you don't mind wearing second hand clothes.

Good luck with finding something and even more good luck with your baby :-)

I'm not sure about your local Dorothy Perkins, but where I live they have a good range of sweaters in there maternity range, I know that because I was helping my friend shop for things the other day.

Also Top Shop, M&S, Next, and Debenhams also have a good range of things, but it will depend on the size of the store. If they don't have it in store you could try looking on they shops websites and ordering from there

My friend had a hard time buying maternity clothes that fit, so she tried Ebay, and got some fantastic clothes.
Can you go to any antenatal groups and ask moms-to-be there where they are getting their clothes from?
Or go to a post natal group and ask if there are any unused maternity clothes lying around that might fit you.

try

www.additionsdirect.co.uk
www.next.co.uk

they both have online maternity ranges and next you can order to come into your local store. mothercare.com also has an online range but i haven't looked at their stuff lately so don't know what they have!

good luck!

Just buy a large jumper! I mean if you can't even figure something that simple out, how the heck are you going to cope when you have to look after a child??!!!
