No, fish cannot sweat. Sweating is a way to control body temperature, and since fish are coldblooded they don't regulate their body temperature like thet. Anyway, if they did sweat, it wouldn't do any good because the cooling effect is from the water evaporating off, since waer has a high heat of vaporization due to hydrogen bonding it is quite effective...for things like horses, people, etc.

Most species of fish don't possess sweat glands of any kind so no they cannot sweat.

well let's go to basic oceanography, fish have no sweat glands, i.e.; no sweat glands no sweat unless their gills sweat air, oh but wait that would cause air bubbles, hmmm, let me look at goldie, nope no air bubbles .

No way! They're already in water anyway. Sweat is water(liquid).

they dont need to ,they are already surounded by water as well as being 99% water themselves,but they easily die in waters that are too warm for them

wouldnt be very noticable if they do as they are wet all the time anyway. i doubt they do though

fish are not mammals, they do not regulate temp by heat loss......
