Hmm. It depends on the situation and who it is. If it's a friend, no prob. I wonder how I can cheer her up, make her feel better and be a good friend. On the occasional basis. If a friend of mine is prone to crying all the time for relatively no reason, then I usually think: Ok, a few minutes and it'll be over soon.
If it's my girlfriend, I know something's pretty bad. She has an amazing perspective and can handle most situations with relative ease. If she's crying, she can use my shoulders, my shirt and my ears to make her feel better.
What do I think? The first thing? I can make her feel better and let her know that I love her in another way, and I'm glad to be there for her. You can't have the great and amazing without a few bumpy times - and how you ride out those bumps makes all the difference during the great and amazing times.

Most of men I know feel uncomfortable with it and it makes them angry that the cryer is crying over what the man feels like is over nothing.
