i'll being one of the questions for u

8. Multiply: (3x + 3y)^2 (2x + 3y)

step 1: expand everything
(3x + 3y)^2 (2x + 3y) = (9x^2 + 18xy + 9y^2)(2x+3y)
= 2x(9x^2+18xy+9y^2)+3y(9x^2 + 18xy + 9y^2) now all u do is expand yet again and colect common factors.

for questions 11 general form is

ax^2 +/-bx +/- c

now wat u need to do is find two numbers when MULTIPLIED together gives u (ac)AND added together gives u b

eg

x^2 + 4x + 3

so a = 1 b = 4 and c = 3

so u can have the numbers(in this case cause its an easy one) 1 and 3

u then have
x^2 + 1x+3x + 3
then u can factorise by pairs

(x^2 + 1x)+(3x + 3)
=x(x+1)+3(x+1)
u can simplify this further by:
=(x+3)(x+1) u can check to see if hte answer is right by expanding it again. now do 11 the same way. for twelve you can use facortisation of polynomials but i dont think u may have learnt that yet so forget about that

definitions

a rational number is one that can be expressed as a WHOLE number when square rooted(im pretty sure of that one but ring up some friends to make sure)
a irrational is the opposite of a rational number one that has decimal points that kinda go on and on and on (hint hint)

well i hope that helps and DO UR HOMEWORK AND LISTENIN CLASS NEXT TIME lol. dw this stuff u'll be able to pick up with some work. hope it helps!

Looks like u are a very lazy person making others do your home work.
Any way i will give u the final answers to some of them. U work it out.

Do your best, and if you want to do better then work at it.

PS One question at a time might get answered, but a shedload of someone else's homework??????

And, by the way (Q19), "pie" is apple or blueberry, you meant "pi", the Greek letter used to symbolise the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.
