recently moved to south devon so there is alot of it I havent seen. Anyone know of any nice places to visit as a special treat for my mum?

All depends on what you are interested in. Your not far from Painton Zoo or day trips to the Eden Project in Cornwall. Check the bus company there are usually plenty of day trips or take the train through the Tarka Trail to North Devon and come to Barnstaple. The journey is well known for its beauty. Try Torquay or Paignton they are just a bus ride apart. There is a lovely theatre in Paignton that has shows on over Christmas holidays and some very nice bed+breakfast/hotel accommodations. hope this help you

Not sure if it's N or S but Clovelly is a lovely place. You can stay in a hotel there. Visually it is one of the prettiest places on earth. At christmas it will be stunning.
