I have thought about your question. When my husband and I worked weekday jobs - we both loved our days off - Saturday and Sunday and we didn't look forward to going back to work on Monday. I retired in 1996. It took years getting used to - not looking forward to the coming weekend. Time passed - one day became - just like the other. Now years later - I have began loving mondays. I like to live an organized life - with a daily routine. It's the first day of the week. Weekdays are predictable. Places of business are open - the banks - Post Office etc.are open - hubby runs all the errands in the early morning - getting ready for the week. Our weekends are filled with - visiting family and friends - that we love to see. We enjoy it - even though it is very tiring at our age. Love Mondays - to re-group for another week. Good question. DeeJay.

I have Sunday itis. Hate today because there is nothing on tv till late and it's such a boring pointless day in the week. It should be scrapped and we should have six days only.

Yes. As soon as I wake up on Sunday I start getting depressed that the next day is Monday.
