turtle girl will be racing a 5.5 mile trail race today. Open meadow start, funneling into single track trail within 1/8 mile with 400 participants expected. Course is many flat but very winding and not well maintained...lots of walnuts, roots...one 3/4 mile incline hill, and finish is open meadow for one mile on a very slight incline....
Remember, I'm kinda turtly but I have heart!

That 3/4 mile incline is gonna take more time, and you'll be watching for the roots so I'd guess about 53:45. Go get 'em Turtle girl.

Average 6 minutes/mile would be 33 minutes
Average 8 minutes/mile would be 44 minutes
Mostly flat trail but a little rugged.
I am guessing you are going to beat 44 minutes, but it would be quite difficult to beat 33 minutes. You said turtly.
39 minutes, 36 seconds.
It's just a guess, I never was a runner.

Seriously, though, just doing it puts you in a tiny minority of people who can compete, and going the distance makes you something a bit out of the ordinary.
