Maybe you have mistaken John Glen, a rocket guy, with Alan B. Shepard Jr, first American citizen in the exosphere and commander of Apollo 14.

John Glen was never part of Apollo, so never went to the moon although he did later fly on a shuttle mission.

John Glenn NEVER walked on the moon. I believe NASA revoked his flight privelages after he flew on Friendship 7. In the intervening years, he became a NASA spokesperson as well as a U.S. senator from Ohio. He later got his flight privelages restored and flew onboard the Space Shuttle Discovery (I think that was the shuttle) in 1998.

Only twelve people ever went to the moon. John Glenn wasn't one of them. If the Apollo missions had gone on a bit further before being cancelled due to budget cuts he might have had a place on Apollo's 18, 19 or 20, but the correct answer to your question would therefore be "." !!

The only moon John could have stepped on was somebody's bare butt, but then it would have been more like a kick.
