of course, unless it's a buffer solution, in that case the dilution causes very little changes in pH.

Yes. except if the solution has a neutral pH = 7 (at 25 oC).

If it is acidic (pH < 7) then with dilution pH grows towards 7.

If it is basic (pH > 7) then with dilution pH lessens towards 7.
