I'm not very well up on these new abbreviations being used nowadays, so if anybody knows any more, i'd be grateful for your input.

I have used IMHO ("In My Humble Opinion"). This one, according to Wikipedia, is "In My Arrogant Opinion".

Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia. I usually just go to Google and type Wiki Imao (or some other word or phrase), and the first entry on the Google page will be a link to the Wikipedia entry and definition for the word.

If I were really smart, I'd bookmark the Wikipedia home page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
which has the search bar on it.... Then I could search for new stuff with fewer clicks.

Thanks for clearing that up - I knew what "lol" meant, but "lmao" is a relatively new one. (Another one might be "tooma" - talking out of my a**e), which is what some of you lot do.
