Gasses are not alkaline. Alkaline are their solutions in water.
If you want the solution to be alkaline you have to have more hydroxide (OH-) ions than oxonium (H3O+) ions.
Example of inorganic gas which forms alkaline solutions is ammonia (NH3). Organic gasses that form alkaline solutions are simple amines (methylamine, ethylamine...)

There is only one common alkaline gas, and that is ammonia. An alkaline gas is one which dissolves readily in water to give lots of OH- ions.
