I always lose a sock or something when I do laundry.
I think my machine eats them.

What I usually do when I do the laundry with 6 pairs of sock daily is to take a safety pin and pin the matching pair together and throw them into the machine. When the laundry is done I hang them out to dry and when packing away I just have to pull the one sock and the other one follows. Saves you lots of time!!!

I have lost many socks. A huge study was done on this and what was determined is the one sock works it way under the agitator and falls to the bottom of the machine. If you ever get the opportunity to take a machine apart you will find single socks in the machine.

Yeah, I have an entire bag filled with solitary socks which I keep to wear around the house. Maybe my machine is related to your machine?
I read a science fiction short story once about disappearing socks. Apparently washing machines are left here by aliens that want to rescue the socks because they look like their mothers and don't want them to be mistreated (or something like that).

I always do and I just recently realized how many socks I'm missing now that the cold weather is flowing through the NW(Seattle,WA). I had to buy 30 new pairs of socks, and in about two months I will probably have to buy some more.

We had this great ad in South Africa where the socks all crawl away and they go to this special sock island where they have fun and party all the time, it was for Netstar (a vehicle tracking compnay)
It was very cute
When I was younger we use to have a dog who stole socks. Every month we would find a heap somewhere.

I always blame the Sock Monkeys, I think they use my lost socks as sleeping bags under the floor boards. LOL

uhh okaaay this are random questions yet no I in a lot of situations do not placed on socks to mattress because if I do they in a lot of situations fall off for some reason haha i'm 19 lady I have worn those like those little socks that go decrease than your ankle and knee socks to mattress i does not placed on dirty socks to mattress so no they weren't dirty I not often ever attempt this no i'm not wearing socks right this moment and that is 2:19 am in california no i do not walk round in socks, i do not quite want to placed on them they malicious program me yet on condition that i'm large chilly or sick i visit placed on them it really is hardly sure I take off my socks correct after I take off my shoes

I use to but now I just make sure each sock has it's pair before putting it in the washer
