Let it develop only if you live in a trailer park somewhere in Arkansas and think that the Deliverance movie was a love story.

ummmm how close of cousins are you?I think he'd have to be like your forth cousin or something like that for it to be considered (and to not be illegal)and even then thats kind of gross.
Seeing as your already related why don't you keep your distance and just treat him like family and not a potential boyfriend.Plus think of the complications you could cause in your family if you would date him and something would go wrong where you wouldn't ever wanna speak to him again,or having your family at odds with each other taking sides and stuff. If it didn't work out you'd still have to see him at family functions.
So anyways unless he's a distant cousin then i'd say no you shouldn't start anything with him.
Ohh and this is coming from someone whose actually had kind of similar situation, but i didn't even think about dating him.(since he was related)he was a cousin also.

You should consider how your family will react to a relationship and decide what is best...it is not immoral to have a relationship with your cousin though many people feel it is. laws vary from state to state and it could cause difficulties within your family all of this should be considered before you decide to move forward with any such relationship. You might have to decide about the age difference to depending on what state you are in. Science is already proving the birth defects thing insignificant. The Bible does not mention cousins as incest therefore it is not immoral according to God. Most countries do not consider it immoral...So I wouldn't base my beliefs on what appears to be popular opinion...base your situation on God's
morality and real science and consider that these people who answer here will judge you according to thier ideas of right and wrong.

I have seen the result of cousins having children. One big possiblity id fragile X syndrome and that basically amounts to really stupid kids with behaviour problems. Would you want to risk that to be with someone when there is a whole world full of people.

First, since he's 23 and you're still a minor, any sort of relationship with you would be statutory rape. Now to the fact that he's your cousin....RUN! Keep your distance? Try moving to another state because you're related and it's a blood relation which makes it all the more incestual.

I've known first cousins who married. Think about it..... Your
Grandparents, Uncles, and Aunts are the same for both of you. You are kin- there is no way around that. Your own children will only have one set of Great Grandparents.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEVE:IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET MARRIED,YOU HAVE TO GO TO COURT
Lets assume you want kids:chances are they will have birth defects:like spina bifida,be retarded,or physically challenged!
Seen many of these cases,so clear your mind:give all the other boys a chance:maybe the attraction to your cousin also comes from the fact that you feel in your guts that there is a problem.Makes it a bit exiting to you maybe????Don't go there.

What if it got serious after a while, you will always have to hide it from people and the world.

There is no future in this. You could get really hurt, or cause a HUGE family drama
