I'm trying to create an effect in Flash that I saw in Paint.NET - if you select Layers->Adjustments->Levels and then move the 'Input' Slider down, the picture gets 'brighter' and seems to almost glow. I need to recreate that effect in Flash, and I'd rather not brute force it. This is for a personal website, by the hey - a buddy of mine has specifically requested that partiucular efffect for the Flash intro to his band's webpage that I'm working on.

Please do not tell me to use the brightness controls in Flash, as that does not produce the desired effect. Any questions about the question, lemme know and I'll try to clarify. Many thanks to any and all who provide assistance!

If this is the type of effect you're after: http://www.newlook.co.uk/
Follow these steps:

Imagine you've got an image on stage that has been converted to a Movie Clip (frame 1). You then select frame 10, insert a keyframe and then apply a motion tween. With me so far? good.

Move the playhead back to frame 1 and click on the image on the stage. In the clip Properties window, select "Advanced" from the drop-down menu and then click the "Settings..." button. Now, set the RGB values to 255 and then press "OK". If you now test the movie, you'll a get a glow or over-exposure effect in the beginning before the image returns to its normal state.
