I just couldn't pass on the fact that I could get 2 points for nothing over here! Actually, seems like you just lost 5 points for nothing! What a coincidence!

BTW: 2+2=5 is NOT correct!

Let's apply some dumb agelbra to this eh?

If we move a 2 to the other side we get
2 = 5 - 2

We know that 5-2 = 3
so does 2=3?
NOPE!

Still don't believe me? Okay let's take a different approach. Cavemen proabably used to add things with sticks. Let 'I' represent a stick.
You are saying that II + II = IIIII
If you have II and you add II to it you end with IIII sticks. IIII is one stick less then IIIII
.
Still don't believe me after explaining it so that a caveman can understand? Let's try this with birthdays!

You are two years old, two years later which birthday are you celebrating? You're fourth! If you were celebrating your fifth birthday, then where did your fourth go? How could you magically get one year older?

Gee golly the answer must be:
2+2=4

You and DanV must have been part of the football team looking for new "talent"........The coach was welcoming a fresher who physically looked promising but had to tell him that the college dean would not allow anyone on the team to pass on the academic side...so he asked him "What is 2+2? The new boy thought carefully, then said "4". The coach hesitated and the whole team cried out "Aw coach!! Give him another chance!".

let a = b

a² = ab ( Multiply both sides by a )
a² + 2a² - 3ab = ab +2a² - 3ab { Add (2a² - 3ab) to both sides }
3(a² - ab) = 2(a² - ab) Factor the left, and collect like terms on the right
3 = 2...... Divide both sides by (a² - ab)

Therefore,
put 2=3 in the equatioin 2+2=x,
u will get, 2+3=x....therefore x=5....or 2+2=5...

howzaat!!!!!
