If you mean up as in awake take a valium but they are a slow release tablet so keep busy for a while before you go to bed .Goodnight sweetdreams.

Neither!!!! What is it with everyone taking a pill for any little problem these days zoloft, perks,valium... The list goes on and on can"t u see it is just a big scam, so pharmacies can make money! Whatever happened to herbal**** Hardly ever took anything in my life,lift weights, eat good I'm fine. If u really wanna get some shuteye try turning ur computer off, and going to bed

Depends on what time you have to get up in the morning.
Ambien will make you fell groggy in the moring but you will be able to get up, unlike if you took the Valium.

i dunno i herd Ambien causes alot of problems as for Valium havent herd of it but i no bennidryll is good for sleep if you don't have any bennidryll take Valium
